Co-parenting sessions

Co-parenting therapy is designed to improve communication between parents who no longer are a couple, regarding the well-being of their children.

Our goal is to help work through your differences, stress, and challenges so that you are able focus on your child’s needs. Together with your therapist, you can develop a plan collaboratively that allows both parents to feel secure and respected with the best interest of the child at heart. Children are not included in these sessions.

Co parenting sessions can be held on a regular basis, or as needed when parents have difficulty reaching an agreement on a specific issue. Each parent will have an opportunity to meet with their therapist individually before coparent sessions start, however, once co parenting sessions begin, the therapist will not meet with each parent individually. Our therapists will help the parents learn to communicate effectively with another and create a non conflictual environment for their children.
